How 21 year- old man allegedly killed, sexually molested corpse of his mother for ritual purposes

A 21 year-old man, Samuel Emober Oghenekporboro, has reportedly killed and sexually molested the corpse of his mother, Mr. Christiana Ighoyivwi.

The 58 year-old victim was strangled to death and her corpse sexually molested multiple times by her son with the expectation that money would gush out in the process.

The hideous crime occurred at their rented apartment at no.8B,market road in  Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of Edo State, October of this year.

The victim’s mother, Mrs. Maria Gabriel, discovered the crime scene when she went to her daughter’s house about 6 a.m. to invite her to a nearby church for morning prayer, Sun reports.

The suspect was captured and handed over to Police by neighbours after he attempted to escape from the scene.

At the scene, the Police discovered semen-stained pants belonging to the suspect and his late mother as exhibits .

Confirming the report, the Police Spokesperson for Edo State, Chidi Nwabuzor, a Deputy Superintendent of Police disclosed that investigation is still ongoing adding that the suspect would soon be charged to court.
